Leave me alone, Lisa bottomless brunch in Newcastle

You can never beat bottomless brunch, it’s the best excuse for any birthday. Newcastle has quite a good few options for bottomless brunch, but most are big chains. So when you get the chance to go to a nice quaint local business for it, it’s so much more worth it.
Leave me alone Lisa is relatively new in Newcastle. I’ve followed them on Instagram for an age so I was so excited to go. So have you ever heard of bottomless gnocchi?! I hadn’t and I’d like to state that every bottomless brunch is missing a trick. I also don’t think I’ve ever ate that much gnocchi?
What drink do you get with the brunch?
This is the main question. What do you actually get? There is a choice of cocktails to choose from with the brunch. So there is margaritas spritz, negroni, negroni sbagliato and tequila sunrise. So quite a random array of drinks you wouldn’t usually see. I was a little sad the margarita wasn’t sour and was more soda, but it was ok! The negroni for me has put me off for life. But the tequila sunrise was banging, and like being on holiday again.

What food for you get with the brunch?
I’ve done a few bottomless brunches, but most don’t give you a lot of food. Little Lobo gives you a shed load and so does Leave me alone Lisa. You get different plates of breads with the BEST garlic dip. An array of sourdough, cinnamon and plain breads don’t stop coming. We had some amazing wings, but wish we had one more plate! Then the gnocchi! We had a pesto gnocchi, a bolognaise gnocchi and an amazing creamy chicken gnocchi. I would like someone to make the creamy chicken one for me for the rest of my life!

How much is the bottomless brunch?
It’s £35 per person. And I think for that price you actually get a lot of food. Like the gnocchi did not stop coming! The drinks were a tad bit slow as there was a point we had nothing, but we also were a party of 21! So we weren’t the easiest of people to squeeze in and serve!
When is the bottomless brunch held?
One only strange thing is that the bottomless brunch is only on a Thursday. But you have a DJ and fab atmosphere. And enough gnocchi to make you not have that bad of a handover the next day! The bar is however open at the weekend and their non bottomless margs look amazing. I need to try their spicy marg asap!
