About me
A little bit about me.. I’m Tamzin, I’m 29 years old and from Newcastle, UK.
I work as a Property Surveyor in Newcastle and trying to blog along side it all!
I have always loved all things creative from studying Art all throughout school and college. Hense where my love for make up has evolved from! I decided to start a blog as I was buying heaps of make up/beauty boxes and had no one to share it all with! I started by posting all of my buys on Instagram. A few people thought I should write one of these too, so thought I would give it a try! Here I am a few years later and I’m so happy I started out.
The story behind the blog name.
In 2015 I decided to change my blog name. I was never really happy with my blog name beforehand and was continuously trying to think of a one I loved before changing and it finally came to me.
The name stems from my laser eye surgery I had mid 2014. Which was actually the best thing ever, I only wish I had done it sooner. Going from being blind as a bat and not being able to apply my make up without glasses. To being able to see really helped my up my game. It also enabled me to try out different make up looks I hadn’t before. Which made my love my blog even more.
My new niche.
I’m currently trying out the whole ‘travel blog’ side and dipping out of my niche a little. It’s the most exciting thing I’ve done so far. But don’t get me wrong, I’m still buying heaps of lipsticks and highlighters.. I can’t delve that far away.
