Joan Collins Timeless Foundation

I love trying out new foundations, there is so many that I love and so many I still need to try! I still haven’t found the be all end all foundation yet, but Too Faced you are a close call. So I’m always wanting to try out the new releases etc, I just need some form of endless bank balance to buy them all.

I fell in love with Joan Collins when I tried her compact and lipstick duo, which still has pride of place in my handbag. So I was so excited to try this beauty out, and I’m glad I did as I use it a few times a week, it’s so light and easy to wear. I chose the shade Cool Fair, as I’ve got a little more colour than I used to earlier in the year and it’s a pretty spot on match! 

The finish is a lot more dewey than I am used to, as I usually wear matte finishes, but I love the healthy glow it gives my skin. Although it is pretty light, the foundation is build-able up to a more medium coverage. The formula also has Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin E and UV Filters in to look after your skin, so it contributes towards your skin care as well as your foundation base!

The First Base Foundation retails at £25, so it isn’t the cheapest on the market, but I do love it. It is so easy to blend with my Beauty Blender and stays on all day with my RCMA setting powder. It’s been a life saver through the change of season, where it’s baltic in the AM but the sahara desert in the PM. If you like a lightweight foundation and love a good dewy finish, you need this in your life. Now I just need to try more of her range, cause I’m yet to be disappointed!
