I swear by the Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation so I’ve been swatching all the latest releases in high street brands to see if there is any new ones I can try out. I also find with cheaper foundations that the shades don’t match the colours the state, like Ivory is either glowing white or bright orange, then they always seem to get more orange from there. So me being pale I struggle to find one that matches my skin well, Vanilla seems to be the colour I need in high street brands but very few do pale shades other than Ivory.

So after wandering aimlessly around Superdrug this +Revlon Professional Italia  foundation caught my eye which is the Photoready Airbrush Effect foundation which is currently £9.99 rather than £12.99 at Superdrug. I’ve always wanted to try the Revlon foundations but they have never done a colour which matches my skin before so I’ve never bothered to get one until now.

I love medium-full coverage foundations, or at least a foundation which is build-able without going cakey. This foundation is a medium coverage foundation which I do think is quite build-able but to an extent. You definitely couldn’t put more than two layers of this on if you ever wanted to anyway as it has quite a thick consistency. It does blend really well using my beauty blender too and blends to such a flawless finish, I was really surprised with it. It does seem to have light glitter particles in it which must be what creates the flawless finish, but it isn’t glittery to the point you look like Edward Cullen. It’s lasted me all day with a touch up at dinner time, and that is with it being crazily warm in the office lately, so I’m impressed! I don’t think this will replace my every day foundation but if you’re wanting that extra finish for the day I will definitely turn to this without a doubt!

Here is what it’s like on:

I just wish Revlon would bring out this shade in their other foundations so I could try more of their range!

Have you tried any of the Revlon foundations?
