6 places on my travel bucket list

Egypt

I have so many places I’m desperate to see but always put off. The thought of solo travel has always terrified me. But no one will prove me otherwise there’s good people out there. So many it’s about time I just bit the bullet. My bucket list always just seems to get longer seeing all the new places. Or even watching the Travel Man on tv has added another 10!

Even if you do or don’t have a significant other to travel the word with. There is so many options instead of going completely solo. The likes of Travel Talk Tours might as well be on my speed dial. I scroll the website so often living in hope I’ll book one. But always wuss out. At least on an organised tour though, you’re all in the same boat. I always fear getting somewhere solo and hating it!

Egypt

Egypt has been on my list for as long as I can remember. Me and my Grandma have talked about it since I was little but she’s too old to go now. I love all the history about Egypt. I know from Karl Pilkington it isn’t what you see on a postcard. But I would do anything to go visit the pyramids!

Jordan

I blame Instagram for adding this one. And also the Travel Talk Tours as it’s one of their destinations too. The history here also fascinates me. Got to tick off that wonders of the world!

Banff

Banff Canada

Canada holds a special place in my heart from childhood. I’ll never forget my summer holidays here with my Grandma, auntie and her wife. Toronto is a must to go back to, but Banff is so high on my list. Hiking and experiencing that place just makes me so excited.

Athens

Again for someone who isn’t a history geek I’m desperate to see Athens. Or some Greek ruins in general somewhere. I loved seeing Rome when I went a few years ago. And Athens is one me and my Dad have mentioned a few times. It’s meant to be mighty hot though, so would be a struggle getting to the top of the steps to the temples!

Vietnam

It’s no shock Asia is on here. I fell head over heels for Thailand and Bali and I’d do them in a heart beat. But Vietnam is also one to add. I’d love to go both Vietnam and Cambodia one day. There’s lots of history, but again lots of food and culture to experience.

Budapest

Can’t beat a city break ever. I had good intentions of going here in 2020 but we all know how that went. I’d love to see all the spas here. I imagine they’re rammed like every other tourist destination. But it’s definitely one I need to see one day.

Where is on your bucket list? Would you ever consider travelling solo too?
