W7 Smokin’ Palette

I’ve seen loads of people try out these palettes as they’re apparently good dupes for Urban Decay Naked palettes, so I’ve always been meaning to try them out. They’re such a bargain too for the amount of shades you receive, this one is only £9.95! 

The packaging itself is pretty similar to the original Naked palettes packaging, it’s a light tin with a brush included too. Now I must admit the brush is pretty pants, it reminds me of being 8 and buying make up but the shadows are better than I thought! There is a lot of shimmers in this palette which are very similar to the Urban Decay Smoky palette shade range. Although the shades are a lot less opaque than the Smoky palette they’re still workable and create a nice effect.

Hey my swatching skills have got a little better at least..! You can see the difference in the shades, but if you’re on a budget, or just prefer budget make up this does pretty much the same. There is a little more fall out with the W7 palette, but it is nothing a little tap of your brush doesn’t solve. I’ve been really enjoying this palette, and as I got bored of my UD Smoky I feel like this is a better option and without the splurge!
