Urban Decay Primer Potion

I was always in two minds as to whether a eyeshadow primer would be worthwhile, I had tried a few brands – some cheap some higher end – and they just weren’t all that. I have supppeeer oily lids, I don’t know who passed that crappy gene onto me but eyeshadow just doesn’t last an hour on me. I religiously used cream eyeshadows on my lids, which did work, but again didn’t last how long I needed/wanted them to. Everyone literally told me to buy this and I just wasn’t convinced after all the other ones I had tried.. but I got it off my boyfriend for my Birthday so I eventually got to try it out!

I just got the original primer potion, which is £16, as I don’t really have any redness to cover and don’t quite need the anti-ageing one juuust yet. The primer has a weird oily cream feel to it and blends in completely transparent and is non sticky – hate the feeling of a slimey primer on my lids. This stuff is literally the work of a miracle, I really wish I had tried it earlier than I did. It’s the only product I’ve ever tried that keeps my shadow on all day! I’m not lying either! If you do struggle to keep your shadow on all day without it creasing/sliding, this is what you need!

I’ve recently found a love for bright eyeshadows too so this came at the right time, I get to keep a pretty cut crease all day with the beaut Anastasia Renaissance palette shades. Nothing beats them at all! Plus the primer makes the shades so much more vibrant and bold!
